How to Cancel Your MyIQ Subscription

Quick answer

How to cancel MyIQ

If you subscribed on myiq.com, cancel your MyIQ subscription through the official MyIQ cancellation portal, use the email address associated with your account, and follow the prompts to confirm cancellation. You can also cancel from your profile after signing in. Keep the confirmation email so you have a record of the cancellation.

Check who bills your MyIQ subscription

Start with your receipt, purchase history, and bank or card statement. Using an Android phone, an iPhone, or Google sign-in doesn't by itself tell you who manages the subscription.

What you findWhere to check next
A MyIQ welcome email or receipt for a purchase on myiq.comCancel on the MyIQ website
The purchase in your Google Play order historyCancel through Google Play using the purchasing account
A receipt or invoice from AppleCancel through Apple using the account on the receipt
A PayPal payment to MyIQCancel with MyIQ and stop the matching PayPal automatic payment

Cancel on the MyIQ website

MyIQ's own cancellation portal is the documented route for a subscription managed through myiq.com.

  1. Open the MyIQ cancellation portal.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your MyIQ account and continue through the sign-in prompts.
  3. Follow the portal's prompts to confirm cancellation.
  4. Keep the cancellation email and any confirmation shown on the page.

You can also sign in to MyIQ and cancel from your profile settings. MyIQ's help article describes both routes, but it doesn't spell out every screen you'll see after signing in.

Check your welcome email for the subscription rate and renewal details. MyIQ says that email includes the trial duration, upcoming charges, and cancellation instructions. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next renewal charge. MyIQ renewal guidance.

Cancel through Google Play

If Google Play manages the subscription, use the Google Account that paid for it. On Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top right.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  6. Tap Cancel subscription.
  7. Choose your reason for canceling if asked.
  8. Complete the final cancellation prompt.

If it's missing, check any other Google Account you may have used. If your receipt points to MyIQ directly, use MyIQ's cancellation route. These Google steps apply to subscriptions managed through Play; they don't establish that your myiq.com purchase uses Play billing.

For detailed cancellation steps, troubleshooting, and refund requests, see our Google Play subscription cancellation guide.

Cancel through Apple

If Apple bills the subscription, use the Apple Account that purchased it. On an iPhone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find it.

If there is no cancellation button or you see an expiration message in red, Apple says the subscription is already canceled.

If the subscription isn't listed, search your email for “receipt from Apple” or “invoice from Apple” and check the account named on it. If you can't find an Apple receipt, check your statement for the actual billing company. Paying on a website with Apple Pay doesn't by itself establish that Apple manages the subscription.

For detailed cancellation steps, troubleshooting, and refund requests, see our Apple subscription cancellation guide.

Stop MyIQ automatic payments in PayPal

Cancel the MyIQ subscription through MyIQ, then check the matching automatic payment in PayPal.

On PayPal's website:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Choose Payments.
  3. Select Subscriptions and saved businesses or Automatic Payments.
  4. Select the MyIQ merchant entry and cancel the automatic payment.

PayPal documents these controls in its automatic-payment help.

Stopping a PayPal automatic payment and canceling the service are separate actions. PayPal says removing its payment method typically doesn't cancel the underlying subscription or contract. Keep your MyIQ confirmation as well as the PayPal payment-status record. PayPal's explanation.

If you can't cancel

Email help@myiq.com and request cancellation. MyIQ's terms list support email as a cancellation option, and its support page asks you to provide the email address associated with your account. Check the spelling and tell support if your login email has changed. MyIQ support, MyIQ terms, section 6.4.

You can use this wording:

MyIQ cancellation email

Subject: Cancel my MyIQ subscription

Please cancel the MyIQ subscription associated with [account email] and stop future renewals. I couldn't complete cancellation through the portal because [brief description].

Please confirm the cancellation in writing and tell me when my current access ends.

If support can't locate the account, add the transaction date, amount, and payment reference from your receipt to your request. These details may help support identify the payment. Keep your sent request and their replies.

For cancellation help, MyIQ's published instructions direct you to the portal and support email. Its terms also list a phone number for legal notices, but the sources reviewed don't document a phone cancellation procedure. MyIQ terms, sections 6.4 and 17.2.

Confirm your subscription is canceled

MyIQ says you receive a confirmation email after cancellation and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Continued access during that period doesn't, by itself, mean renewal is still active. MyIQ cancellation guidance.

Keep these records together:

  • Your cancellation request and the date you sent it.
  • The final confirmation screen, if one appears.
  • The confirmation email and stated access end date.
  • Any support replies about future billing.

If no confirmation arrives, follow up with MyIQ and ask it to confirm the subscription's status. Keep checking your statements rather than assuming a sent email completed the cancellation. The FTC recommends retaining cancellation records and watching for charges afterward. FTC subscription guidance.

You don't need to delete the account just to stop renewals. MyIQ says account deletion also cancels an active subscription, but permanently removes your data and ends access immediately, without refunding unused time. Use ordinary cancellation if you want to keep access through the paid period. MyIQ account-deletion guidance.

Request a refund

Cancellation and a refund request are separate. MyIQ's published policy says refund reviews are discretionary and handled case by case. It lists unused subscription time and failure to cancel before renewal among its non-refundable cases. MyIQ refund policy, section 7.

To request a review, contact MyIQ through its portal, Help Center, or support email. Include your account email, transaction details, reason for the request, and supporting records.

If you’re also requesting a refund for a charge after cancellation, add this paragraph to your cancellation email. Replace the placeholders and attach your cancellation confirmation if you have it. Remove the attachment sentence if you don’t have a confirmation to attach.

Refund paragraph to add to your email

I also request a review of the [amount] charge dated [date]. My cancellation confirmation is attached. Please confirm whether a refund has been approved.

Use the facts that apply to your situation. MyIQ states that approved refunds are processed within three business days to the original payment method. A support message promising a refund isn't proof that the money has arrived; check the original payment account.

If you're charged after cancellation

Compare the charge date with your cancellation request, confirmation, and renewal details. Send MyIQ those records and ask it to explain the charge.

If the company won't stop charging or an unauthorized charge remains unresolved, contact your card issuer through its official app, website, or the number on the back of your card. Follow its dispute process and keep copies of your supporting records. The FTC recommends disputing continued or unauthorized subscription charges; a dispute doesn't guarantee a refund.

For automatic debits from a US bank account, ask your bank about revoking payment authorization or a stop-payment order. The CFPB explains that stopping payments doesn't itself cancel the underlying contract, and stop-payment fees may apply. CFPB automatic-payment guidance.

Once you have confirmation, save it where you can find it and check your statement after the next expected renewal date.
